Sekmet transforms darkness into light. Lion-headed and enthroned Sekmet is the crone face of Isis, the dark aspect of the divine feminine which brings light out of ignorance, transmutes suffering into healing, and teaches wisdom. She is the warrior goddess of Upper Egypt. She is depicted as a lioness, the fiercest hunter known to the Egyptians.
