Imported from Central Mexico, these come from villages southwest of Mexico City. These authentic traditional textiles are woven by native peoples in their homes. A family may have as many as 12 hand made looms, run as a cottage industry with their family and friends. There is no electricity and no factory automation. Each piece is handmade from start to finish, therefore no two are exactly alike. Washing Tip: We recommend you add a cup of white vinegar to the first cold water wash. It sets the color!
