The Ten Magickal Laws provide a bridge between the Universal and Cosmic Laws that define the Spiritual and the Ten Ecological Balance Laws that define the Physical. As such, the Magickal Laws represent the "crack between the worlds," the magick and mystery of Life. The Magickal Laws show us how to walk between these two worlds with beauty and integrity. Because the Ten Magickal Laws are the bridge between the intent of the Universe and the Intent of Nature, they help us find the connections between the universal dream and everyday life.

When humans are able to bring the Universal and Cosmic Laws inside themselves and integrate the understanding of the Great Spirit's intent, then the Magickal Laws are birthed within us and we are able to live within the Law. The extent to which we are in alignment with Sacred Law is the extent to which our Larien, our magickal birthright, can be developed. The Ten Larien, or human potentials, are the individual human expression of each Magickal Law. They are our "energy sensitive perceptions." The development of the Larien is tied to the amount of self-worth each human allows. The full measure of human self worth is alignment with the Great Spirit's self-worth, which is manifested as perfected Larien.

The Thirty Sacred Laws (also called the Blue Manuals is the second volume (and includes part 1, 2 & 3) of the Sweet Medicine SunDance teachings of the Twisted Hairs Elders of Turtle Island. The first volume, the Shamanic Wheels and Keys (also called the Green Manual), is highly recommended as a companion text, since much of Volume II builds on an understanding of the basic shamanic teachings presented in Volume I.
