I was most pleased when my pendant came in, much more than I expected. The obsidian blade is black, that is till you hold it to the light, then you see the transparancy with darker black running thru the blade. The work is outstanding, but do not expect to skin with this as it would be a danger to the wearer, thow it is sharp enough as it is, especially the point and the edges will get a paper envelope open. It is truely a work of art in my opinion. I could say that if your not happy with your's, I might just buy it off you. It deffinantly falls under the catagory of Better that Best. THANKS KAREN... J.D.
