Hatchet Pipe

In the 1700's, Europeans began to manufacture metal trade hatchet pipes. By the early 19th century, stone representations of the hatchet pipes began to surface. This pipe is available in 14" (35 cm), 21" (53 cm) and 28" (71 cm) length. This is the approximate size when the Stem and Bowl are joined together. Each pipe is hand carved. The photo is a representative sample.
