Each ring of the Four Winds pipe represents the four directions. Originally, pipes were inlaid with lead by melting lead bullets and pounding the lead into the grooves of the pipe. Some say that these lead inlay pipes were carried in protection of the children. Now they are inlaid with silver solder. Choose the desired length of your pipe from the drop-down box above, and the corresponding price will show. This pipe is available in 15" (38 cm), 23" (58 cm) and 30" (76 cm) length. This is the approximate size when the Stem and Bowl are joined together. The photo is a representative sample, the pipes are hand carved and no two are exactly alike.
